Rare Centre Seconds Moonphase 8-day ornate oak clock. This is a spectaular clock with all bells and whistles! Housed in a tall oak and mahogany case, with break arch and fretwork surmounted by 3 original brass finials.
The movement is particularly rare, having centre seconds with a long steel hand, and a centre date with brass hand. It also features the moon phases in the arch with paintings of the moon, and also a wood cutter and horse riders in a rural setting slowly changing with the passing month.
The 8 day movement has its 2 weights, large brass pendulum with steel shaft, and its winding key. The case has been professionally restored, and the movement serviced.
