W015 - TIVERTON CARVED ROSEWOOD FUSEE DROP DIAL WALL CLOCK
By Mander, Tiverton c1840. Fully restored and beautifully carved drop dial clock with circular flower or leaf design, and vine detail around the drop dial aperture revealing the long pendulum through the original bubbled and wavy glass.
The 12" enamelled dial has been sympathetically restored, featuring the name of the maker, and surrounded by its quality cast brass bezel.
The clock has its original matching finely cut steel hands.
The movement has been fully stripped and serviced, with repairs carried out as necessary, and should give good service for many years to come.
