Beautiful wall clock in a rosewood veneer case with mother-of-pearl inlaid decoration.
Superb Somerset clock currently undergoing restoration (December 2020).
Single fusee movement with long pendulum, enamel dial and cast brass bezel.
Charles Halliday was working in Fore Street and Cornhill 1839-1842. I have come across longcase clock by Halliday and Rich, possibly referring to collaboration with James Rich (1839-1894) Cornhill.
