A very attractive painted moon-phase grandfather clock.
In a decorative restored mahogany case with banding and inlays of typical ‘West Country’ style with ‘wavy edge’ hood door, case door with lock and key.
With winding key for the 8 day movement with 13” painted dial which has seconds, date, and shows the age of the moon in the arch with alternating castle and ship paintings, the dial in very good condition.
Strikes the hours on a bell.
