GF092 - ABM RICH BRIDGEWATER (1826-35)

Superb Painted dial 8-day Longcase clock.
An early 1800's Georgian Oak longcase clock with local history, having been fully restored over the past 12 months, and featuring the restored original oak case with carved feature to the hood flanked by barley twist columns, carved diamond panel to the door, and the superb 12" square painted dial with paintings of fruit to the corners.

The dial was also professionally restored recently and looks stunning.
Brass pendulum, key and lock to case door, and serviced 8 day movement with bell, seconds and date.

A quality local Bridgwater maker who worked in Cornhill (the 'e' in Bridgewater was dropped in the mid 1800's), I have restored and sold another clock by him in the past, and also have one by his Brother Andrew listed at present.

Height 80" x Width 18"
