Interesting 8 Day moon-phase movement in a very attractive oak and mahogany case, having reeded pillars, dentil detailing to the hood and a gilt painted glass inlay panel above the hood door. Small swans neck carved finials with brass paterae.
The dial is of the Wilson style with raised gesso gold leaf to the corner spandrels. Lovely small inset moon within the dial, fine steel hands and date wheel.
