W023 - ROSEWOOD & BRASS INLAID DROP DIAL C19th FUSEE WALL CLOCK
A recently restored mid c19th wall clock having a single fusee 8 day movement.
The 12" dial has steel hands set on a plain enamel dial, and with a high quality cast brass bezel.
The case is an outstanding feature of the clock being made of polished rosewood with a shaped viewing panel below the dial displaying the brass pendulum.
The case in inset with elaborate brass inlay which does have some minor loss to two panels.
A stunning clock running well and keeping good time.
The overall height of the clock is 28" and width 17".
